The fall equinox, or autumn equinox, occurs today – Sept. 22, 2025, at 2:20 p.m. EDT, when the sun moves southward across the celestial equator. The celestial equator is an imaginary projection of Earth’s equator into space, forming a circle around the sky that divides the northern and southern celestial hemispheres.
A fall equinox begins the time to start shifting our focus inward. As daylight wanes, the spiritual invitation is to slow down and turn inward, and enter a phase of deeper contemplation.
The season encourages releasing stagnant energy and letting go of what no longer contributes to your well-being. Additionally, this transition encourages us to reap the ‘harvest’ of the year’s efforts and express gratitude.
To those celebrating Rosh Hashanah,
may the New Year be Sweet.
And may this Season bring Peace to the Hearts of All
Letting Go in Fall
